David Spade Goes Viral for Perfect Quip About J.J. Watt’s New Hairstyle

NFL legend J.J. Watt just can’t catch a break in retirement.

Being one of the best athletes to ever play your sport doesn’t save you from the cruelties of the internet, sadly, and the hits just keep coming for Watt. This time, a famous actor took a quick jab at the CBS analyst.

During CBS’s broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII earlier this month, Watt debuted a new hairstyle and was mercilessly ridiculed online for it. He was a good sport about it, though, and posted, “You ever switch up your hair and wonder if anyone will notice? They notice” on X, formerly Twitter.

He kept the joke rolling on Wednesday when he posted a picture of a new look asking, “is this better?”

The three-time Defensive Player of the Year was sporting a mustache and a long comb over—looking eerily similar to longtime actor and comedian David Spade.

Spade, of course, just had to chime in when he saw his look getting so much attention on someone else.

“Im warning you this look is tough to maintain,” Spade said on X.

In less than three hours, the one-liner had already cleared 15,000 likes on X. People just can’t get enough of Watt’s hair.
