WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The host of “Expedition Unknown” on the Discovery Channel is coming to Wichita’s Orpheum Theatre.

“Josh Gates Live! An Evening of Legends, Mysteries, and Tales of Adventure” takes place on May 17. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 1.

Since it began in 2015, “Expedition Unkown” has brought Gates across the globe, from the deserts in Africa to the jungles of South America and Asia, even underwater archeological excavations. Gates joins scientists and archeologists looking for the stories behind myths and legends and even answers to more modern mysteries like the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. In addition to “Expedition Unkown,” he also hosts “Josh Gates Tonight” a talk show where he interviews everyone from celebrities to scientists.
