The Stockton Kings will play against the Santa Cruz Warriors; Los Tigres del Norte will take on the stage at the Adventist Health Arena; and the Ferris Bueller's Day Off movie will be screened at the Bob Hope Theater.

Here are 10 things you don't want to miss this weekend in Stockton.

Stockton Kings vs. Santa Cruz Warriors

The Stockton Arena glows purple during a non-game day on Monday, Mar. 27, 2023 in honor of the Kings securing a berth in the NBA G League playoffs.

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League team of Stockton will be having two home games against the Santa Cruz Warriors at the Adventist Health Arena this weekend.

At 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 the Stockton Kings will play against the Santa Cruz Warriors. The game promotion for this day is "Women’s Empowerment Night" presented by Jamba.

"Ladies, this night is for you. Join us ... in rallying around Stockton Kings Head Coach, Lindsey Harding as we celebrate the greatness women have brought to the game, and around the world," the Stockton Kings website states.

Their last home game of the season will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 23. Saturday's game promotion is "Fan Appreciation Night" presented by Red Hawk Resort + Casino .

"Stockton Kings fans ... Don’t miss your chance to take home Kings swag that will be given away to fans in attendance," the website states.

Tickets start at $15 for Thursday's game and $10 for Saturday's game.

Los Tigres del Norte at Adventist Health Arena

Los Tigres del Norte, the norteño band will be performing at the Adventist Health Arena at 8 p.m. this Friday.

The "La Puerta Negra" and "Golpez en el Corazón," band is on tour as part of their Siempre Contigo Tour.

Jurassic Quest at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds

Jurassic Quest is coming to Stockton this weekend.

At Jurassic Quest, you can ride a dinosaur, create a dino craft, dig for fossils, and even meet baby dinosaur, the Jurassic Quest website states.

General admission starts at $22.

University of the Pacific Softball

The University of the Pacific Softball team will be playing at the Bill Simoni Field at the University of the Pacific this weekend.

A doubleheader game against Portland State will kick off at 4 p.m. Friday, March 22. The second game on Friday will start at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, the teams will play again at noon during Family/ Youth Day. General admission adult tickets are $10.

Flavor Twist: A food and Snack Expo

The Visit Stockton Website highlights "Flavor Twist: A Food & Snack Expo" coming to Stockton this weekend.

Flavor Twist is "a food and snack expo," with "top-notch food trucks, delightful snacks, refreshing drinks, and much more!" the Flavor Twist Event Instagram page states.

Aside from food, there will also be a car show, a DJ, a 360 Photo Booth, a mobile gaming trailer and guest foodies influencers, their website states.

This event is outdoors, it's free and it's family and pet-friendly.

Killer Queen at the Bob Hope Theater

Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen is set to perform in Pueblo March 9.

Make your way to downtown Stockton for a concert at the Bob Hope Theater.

"A Tribute To Queen is a mesmerizing live concert experience that brings the iconic music of Queen back to life," the Stockton Live website states. "With spot-on performances, this tribute captures the essence of Queen's legendary sound and stage presence."

MercyMe at the Adventist Health Arena

The contemporary Christian band MercyMe will be performing at the Adventist Health Arena on Sunday, March 24.

The "Always Only Jesus" band will take on the stage around 7 p.m.

Friends of the Fox Classic Movie series presents "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," at the Bob Hope Theater on Sunday.

A 1986 comedy/drama starring Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck and Mia Sara.

Doors will open at 1 p.m. The film will begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are $3 for children 4 to 12 years old. General admission is $9.

San Joaquin on the Move at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum

San Joaquin County Historical Museum is having a "San Joaquin on the Move," exhibit, according to Visit Stockton.

The exhibit takes visitors back in time to "see how different forms of transit and transportation have kept our county moving forward" the museum website states.

The exhibit began in late February and runs through Sunday, May 26 at the Helen Weber Kennedy Gallery.

Singing to the Difference: An Examination of Surface Strategies at San Joaquin Delta College

The Horton Art Gallery at the San Joaquin Delta College is celebrating Women’s History Month with a new exhibition.

Singing to the Difference: An Examination of Surface Strategies is an "exhibition of six established women artists and two women guest curators," the San Joaquin Delta College website states.

The exhibition opened in early March and it will run through Friday, April 5. The guest curators are Ruth Santee and TaVee Lee.

"The artwork in the exhibition does not necessitate a focus on women’s 'issues' but rather the making of non-objective art and its formal qualities, as reflected by its title, An Examination of Surface Strategies," the San Joaquin Delta College website states.

The Visit Stockton website states the exhibition is free and open to the public.
