Royal Caribbean International is to open a new Royal Beach Club in Mexico in 2026.

The destination, located along the western coast of the island of Cozumel, will feature an array of experiences for cruise guests including swim-up bars, dedicated pools for families and relaxation, private cabanas, areas for snorkeling, kayaking, and more. The club will also offer various bars, restaurants and lounges, as well as a street market. The hands-on experiences available will include tequila tastings and cooking classes.

“We are delighted to build on our long-standing partnership with the local community and government to continue bringing our guests to Mexico,” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. “The expansion of our destination offerings aligns with the growing global demand for the ultimate vacation experiences and enables our guests to connect with the beauty of local cultures and people in the places they visit.”

Royal Beach Club Cozumel has been designed to “offer a combination of experiences for everyone” according to the cruise line

The beach club will be the second in the Royal Beach Club collection, following the opening of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau in The Bahamas in 2025.

“The anticipation for what’s next when it comes to Royal Caribbean destinations has only continued to build since we revealed Royal Beach Club Paradise Island,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. “Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection. Cozumel is an incredible destination, and the beach club will perfectly complement all the island has to offer as an experience that combines familiar Royal Caribbean touches with the spirit of Mexico, alongside amenities and activities for every type of vacationer.”
