CHICAGO — Police are searching for the people responsible for stabbing a man as he was walking on Chicago’s North Side Wednesday morning.

Police said the 32-year-old man was walking in the 3500 block of West Ainslie in Albany Park around 6:15 a.m.

A grey sedan pulled up and three men got out and stabbed the man and took his belongings.

The man was stabbed in the side and suffered cuts to the face, police said.  He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No one is in custody. Police are investigating.
