“Paranormal Cirque”: Fantasy World at Pueblo Mall

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Mall parking lot will soon be transported to a parallel world filled with the fantastical and monstrous when the Cirque Italia brings their “Paranormal Cirque” March 21 to 24.

Cirque Italia describes their “Paranormal Cirque” show as “thrilling, wicked, sexy” and even “dangerous”, and that it will expose viewers to a “unique creation of combined theatre, circus, and cabaret with a new European style flare.” They emphasize that the circus is for a mature audience and “not for the faint of heart”.

The show features a horror storyline acted out by top acrobats, performers, and contortionists from all over the world. Circus acts include the Wheel of Death and magic performers. The circus troupe is serious about avoiding cruelty and has a strict policy of involving only humans in the show.

The show takes place in the Pueblo Mall parking lot at 3429 Dillon Drive, under the white and black big top tent. Show times are:

• Thursday, March 21, 7:30 p.m.

• Friday, March 22, 7:30 p.m.

• Saturday, March 23, 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

• Sunday, March 24, 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

“Paranormal Cirque” has adult language and material and is restricted. Those under 18 years old require an accompanying parent or guardian. The box office opens on-site Tuesday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on non-show days, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on show days.
