WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A local restaurant in Columbiana County is closing, and the owner is hoping to find a new owner within three months.

The owner of the Busy Bee Tavern & Restaurant in Wellsville, Scott Farrar announced his retirement on Facebook. The establishment will close if a new owner isn’t found.

“I would like to thank the many customers who have supported us for so long, you are wonderful. My fellow workers and I tried our best, but with the challenging labor conditions it became to challenging. I thank them they were great to work with. The Busy Bee is closed unless a new owner is found. Once again I thank you for the great times and memories [sic].”

Farrar said he is placing the business up for sale for 90 days. If the business doesn’t sell, the contents and building will be sold in pieces, according to the post.
