A Milwaukee County bus driver came to the rescue of a young boy wandering alone on a busy Milwaukee street.
The Milwaukee County Transit System shared video Thursday of the incident from Feb. 24.
Keyon Finkley saw the child as he drove his bus on Capitol Drive near 83rd Street.
"I start blowing my horn to warn other drivers," he said.
The boy was barefoot and wearing only a pajama shirt.
Finkley stopped the bus and brought him on board to keep him warm.
Finkley said he went into daddy mode, being a father of four kids, with twins around the same age as the child.
"I instantly thought of my kids and I was happy to treat that boy like my son, at that time," Finkley said.
It's unclear why the child was outside, near the street that day. Police reunited the child with his family.
"A lot of people saying you're a hero that day," Finkley said. "I didn't look to be a hero that day. I looked to protect a little boy that day, and I'm happy that I was able to do that."
The Milwaukee County Transit System says this is the 14th lost or missing child found by its drivers in recent years.
