A MAN installed his own secret button on his car for just £10 - and can now start the engine without keys.
YouTube star known as “Tech Sounds” went on his social media page to explain how it was done.

At the start of the footage, he said all you needed for this “simple project” was a momentary switch, a drill, a drill bit and some wire strippers.
The video then cuts to the YouTuber sitting in the drivers seat and gets going removing the cover of the steering column.
He warned that this part can be a “kind of tricky” if you have a manual car.
The point of removing the cover is to get access to your ignition wiring harness.

He said: “The two wires we’re after are the 12 volt and the one that sends basically power to the starter relay to send power to the starter.
“Then we’re going to bypass our key altogether.”
The YouTuber said the key for the car didn’t work and it was cheaper to spend “15 bucks” than having to pay for a new key.
He then starts playing around with the wires saying you needed to tap into the power.

He said: “Basically all we're gonna do is run a line from this wire to this wire switch in the middle so we're just gonna strip a bunch of this wire, an inch or so off.”
He then intertwines the two wires saying you can solder them up or wrap them in tape.

He said: “As long as you get a sound connection, it’ll be good.”
The man then gets out the switch, which has screw terminals on the back, making it easy to solder up.
Once the switch is connected, it will start the car’s engine.
Having set it up the only decision is then where to hide the switch on the steering column cover.
He then puts everything back with the steering column looking almost the same as it was before, but with the secret button on the side.
The YouTuber then demonstrates to make sure it’s all working properly.
He tries starting the car with the key but it doesn’t work but when he presses the button, the car’s engine fires up.
The hack comes after a driver hailed a "God send" trick to turn off their car alarm when their key fob is broken.
