Some updates about the Marvel Zombies series have come out.

Since the announcement during the Marvel animation panel at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, further details have been under wraps, but now IGN has shared some tidbits about what we might be able to expect.

Brad Winderbaum, who is Head of Streaming, Television and Animation at Marvel Studios, described the show as "pretty intense", so much so it's expected to warrant a TV-MA rating.

Winderbaum also called it "mature animation" that is "trying to honor the comics".

There are currently very few details out there about the upcoming series, but the confirmed cast members are Randall Park and Andy Le.

Bryan Adams, who served as supervising director on eighteen episodes of What If...? will be executive producer and director of the series written by Zeb Wells.

Wells will also executive produce alongside Adams with Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.

Marvel Zombies is inspired by the five-issue limited comic series, with the show set to feature zombie twists of beloved characters such as Ms. Marvel, Yelena, Shang-Chi and more.
