Ice Spice says she is 'obsessed' with Lana Del Rey as she names Rihanna and Taylor Swift as some of her favorite hitmakers: 'The list is long!'
Ice Spice - whose real name is Isis Gaston - is 'obsessed' with Lana Del Rey.
The 24-year-old rap star is a huge fan of the 38-year-old singer, describing Lana as one of her favorite 'hitmakers' of all time.
When asked to name some of her favorite hitmakers, Ice told Billboard: 'I would say Lana Del Rey - I’m obsessed with her, and I feel like all of her songs are hits, even the ones that aren’t as big as the others.'
Ice also named the likes of Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Drake as some of her other favorite hitmakers.
The rapper added: 'Rihanna, too. I have both [her and Del Rey’s] vinyls. Taylor Swift. Of course, Nicki Minaj. Drake. The list is long!'

The New York native is so talented, believes she can instantly tell whether a song has the potential to become a hit or not.
When asked what she listens for, Ice replied: 'First, a really hard beat.
'If the beat doesn’t instantly move me - like if I don’t physically feel the beat of the speakers - then I’m just going to keep moving on to the next one. But as soon as I know, I know I have that beat. It’s up from there.'
Meanwhile, Ice previously revealed that she welcomes tips and suggestions about her music.
The Bikini Bottom hitmaker told the Guardian newspaper: 'A lot of people try to encourage me to do certain sounds or try to be like: "Oh, you got to sample this," and I take everything with a grain of salt.
'In the beginning, I used to be like: "Why is everybody trying to tell me what to do?" But then I started to realize, like, everybody just want to be part of something and contribute to something - so now I just appreciate it.'
She went on to reveal advice shared by her most famous of friends, Taylor Swift.
When speaking to Billboard, she said: 'When I was in the studio with Taylor, I’ll never forget.

The pair teamed up on the remix of Taylor's hit Karma last May.
Ice Spice also revealed that her debut album, 'Y2K', is nearing completion.
She said: 'Yes, there is going to be an album this year. I'm so excited. It's called Y2K. It's almost finished.'

The Barbie World hitmaker - who performed with Taylor during the New Jersey dates of her Eras tour - has also become close friends with fellow rap star Nicki Minaj and 'loves' to be able to talk to the Super Bass singer about things she cannot talk about when the cameras are on.
She said: 'She be telling me to learn from her mistakes – just watching her in general, if you pay close enough attention, you gonna see what you should do. I love to talk to her about things that I can’t talk about publicly – it just means so much to be able to have somebody like her.
'I'm just happy to be a part of such a big movement and to be able to contribute to the culture. I’m willing to try whatever, you know what I’m saying? I’m young – I’m gonna try everything.'
