Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been told exactly how they can spend more time with King Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been at loggerheads with the Royal Family for some time, but are currently reportedly trying to repair their ongoing rift.

Harry and Meghan are also said to be keen on trying to regain a positive image in the UK, and a PR expert has suggested that this could ensure they get to spend more time with the 75-year-old monarch - who was diagnosed with a form of cancer last month.

Speaking of the couple, PR expert Carla Speight told the Mirror: "Once they’ve succeeded in reminding people of the humanitarians and deep love that is at the heart of their relationship, they will have the opportunity to spend more time with Charles during his cancer battle."

Despite many feeling as though it is too late for Meghan and Harry to repair their image, Ms Speight suggested that "all is not lost".

She told the publication: "All is not lost for the couple, despite a rough few years, they still have many supporters out there and the public is growing tired of the constant bashing they are getting. They don’t need a rebrand, they need to refocus the attention on what good they do.

"Now that Kate and William are at the heart of the wrath of the global press and public, the timing for Harry and Meghan to focus attention on the positives in their work lives and what makes them well received amongst supporters couldn’t be any more pressing."

The couple stepped down as senior working royals at the start of 2020, and have since resided in the US with their two children, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.

King Charles’s niece chatted to children from Garden House School at Elephant Family’s Little Egg Hunt in Chelsea on March 21.

Princess Eugenie, 33, got involved with the event because Queen Camilla’s late brother, Mark Shand, was a “dear friend” who set up Elephant Family in 2003.

Princess Eugenie, who is patron of the Elephant Family, explained taking part in egg hunts or bamboo elephant activities in Hyde Park, “bridges the gap” with what happens in the wild so people can help learn about conservation.
