Should you start your day with apple cider vinegar?

A new study suggests it could aid weight loss, but it is also said to boost immunity and gut health. Maria Lally reports

Of all of Victoria Beckham’s health practices — from working out five times a week to, according to her husband, never deviating from the same grilled fish and steamed vegetable dinner for 25 years — one stands out as perhaps the easiest: a shot of apple cider vinegar every morning. Jennifer Aniston, Miranda Kerr and Elizabeth Hurley have also spoken of its many benefits, while Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are such fans of the stuff that they invested in Bragg, one of the biggest brands of organic apple cider vinegar (ACV) in the US.

A study out this week suggests they might be on to something. Research published in the journal BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health reported that drinking a spoonful of ACV diluted
