LAURENS, S.C. (WSPA) — A man is in police custody after being arrested for allegedly kidnapping and sexual assaulting a woman.
According to the Laurens Police Department, Brett Ray Strawhorn was arrested and charged with the following:
- 1 count- Kidnapping
- 1 count- Criminal Sexual Conduct-1st Degree
- 1 count- Possession on Psilocybin mushrooms
Following his arrest, Strawhorn was taken to the Laurens County Detention Center. Officials said that he was denied bond due to the nature of the crimes.
