KNEE trembling, hit songs and the closet thing to The King will take over Bolton Arena this weekend.
A tribute artist dubbed the world’s greatest Elvis will finally arrive in the town following months of build up.
America-based Shawn Klush will hit the stage to perform a string of hits by the rock and roll legend.
But not before fellow Elvis tributes perform their take on The Pelvis’s catalogue of dance floor fillers.
Klush’s performance will be preceded by a first-half offering from a number of other Elvis impersonators and contributions from The Sweet Inspirations, Elvis’ original backing singers, and D J Fontana, Elvis’ original drummer.
There will also be the chance to buy one of The King’s cigar lighters in an auction.
Shawn Klush’s claims to be the best were made official when he won Elvis Presley Enterprises’ first Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest last year.
Gwyn Hughes, of Bolton Arena, said: “There has been a phenomenal response to the event and we’re now approaching a 4,000 plus sell-out.
“The show has an all-star cast with a big budget production to go with it, so we’re gearing up for a spectacular event.”
Tickets priced £28 are still available from The Bolton News by calling 01204 537343.
