Coroner IDs motorcyclist killed in Mount Pleasant crash

Police in Mount Pleasant are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died in a single-vehicle crash in Mount Pleasant.

Miguel Farina, 50, of Mount Plesant, died at the scene from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash, Chief Deputy Coroner Brittney Martin said.

The crash happened on Friday just before 10 p.m. on Patriots Point Boulevard, Sgt. Ashley Croy said.

“Any loss of life is a tragedy,” Croy said. “The Mount Pleasant Police Department extends our condolences to the deceased’s family.”

Authorities did not provide further details on the crash.
