Boulevardia music festival releases 2024 artist lineup

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Returning for its 9th year, Kansas City’s Boulevardia music festival vows to be “a grand experience for your senses.”

The festival runs Friday and Saturday, June 14-15, on Grand Boulevard in Kansas City, Mo.

Tickets start as low as $35 each for a single-day, general admission pass. They reach as high as $1,100 for an “ultimate weekend for two” pass that includes hotel fare, early admission to Taps and Tastes, and more for two people.

Lineup

The headlining act for Friday, June 14 is Milky Chance, a rock band from Germany. Other acts that day include Hanson, Pom Pom Squad, Ha Ha Tonka, DJ P, Friendly Thieves and Starhaven Rounders.

Sunday’s headliner is Thundercat, an American musician and singer from Los Angeles. Other acts include Paul Cauthen, Big Freedia, Ole 60 and Ultimate Fakebook.

Taps and Tastes (21+)

Held on Saturday, June 15 in the Crown Center Exhibition Hall, Taps and Tastes features 50+ breweries, distilleries and food vendors. Participants receive a souvenir glass from the event and can sample drinks and “local bites.”

Regular admission tickets are $85 each, including admission to Boulevardia on Saturday, while early admission tickets are $125 each. A full list of participating businesses has not yet been released.

Special Experiences

Monster Energy Silent Disco: Friday and Saturday from 8:30-11 p.m., festival attendees can check out free headphones and choose between two music stations to dance to. The disco will be held under Crown Center’s big top tent and features a variety of DJs from the weekend lineup.

Roller Skating Party: Details for this event are still pending.

In addition to the music and special events, there will be food vendors and a makers market selling hand-crafted goods. More information on what attendees can expect from those will be announced closer to the festival date.
