Gov. Maura Healey announced Wednesday that she is moving to pardon everyone previously convicted of simple marijuana possession in state court. If approved by the Governor's Council, Healey office said the pardons could affect "hundreds of thousands" of people in Massachusetts.

But what impact will it have on the daily lives of those with previous convictions? Radio Boston talks with Tito Jackson, former Boston city councilor and founder of Apex Noire, and Devin Alexander, CEO of Rolling Releaf, to understand what the policy means.

This segment aired on March 15, 2024.
