This Friday, March 22nd, Grammy award-winner Maxim Vengerov, often referred to as the greatest living violinist, will be making his much-anticipated return to the National Concert Hall in Dublin, where he will once again be teaming up with the National Symphony Orchestra and conductor, David Brophy.

There he will be performing Sibelius' Violin Concerto, truly one of the great concertos in the violin repertoire.

Being a passionate teacher, Vengerov will also be working with three advanced students in a masterclass, taking place through the National Concert Hall’s Learning and Participation programme.

Ahead of his performance on Friday, he will work with these players on the Sibelius Violin Concerto and each of these will then be assigned a movement of the concert to prepare.
