Wonzur Ratcliff, the man who allegedly hit Terrell Owens with his car after an argument during a basketball game last year, was charged with two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon.

TMZ Sports reported Ratcliff hit Owens' knee with his car last October following an argument in Calabasas, Calif. Owens did not suffer any serious injuries and has not made public comment on the incident.

Details on what led to the fight have been scant.

No court date has been set.

Owens played college basketball at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before embarking on his NFL career. He once tried to play in NBA Summer League in 2005 but was denied by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Hall of Famer has not played in the NFL since the 2010 season but returned to the field in 2022 to play in the Fan Controlled Football League.
