A crash in Marion County took the life of a Georgia man Tuesday night.

MARION COUNTY, Ala. (WTVA) – A crash in Marion County took the life of a Georgia man Tuesday night.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that Perry Kpadoe, 37, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was killed when his tractor-trailer left the roadway and hit a tree.

A passenger that was in the truck was also injured and taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The crash took place along Interstate 22, west of Hamilton, near the one-mile marker.
