Everyone try to remain calm, but it appears Aaron Taylor-Johnson could be the next 007.

Yep that's right, Aaron, aka Robbie from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging has reportedly been offered the coveted film role, taking over from Daniel Craig for the franchise's 26th movie, in a report published by The Sun.

A source told the publication, "Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back."

While it's yet to be confirmed if Aaron has accepted the role as Britain's most famous spy, it would certainly be an impressive role to add to his already stacked CV. From playing teenage heartthrob Robbie in Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, to a superhero in Kick-Ass, to Anna Karenina's lover, he has literally done it all.

And so we're taking a moment to reflect back on his impressive career so far, with a list of all his most iconic movie roles to date.

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging - 2008

You'd be hard pressed to find a millennial woman who doesn't remember Aaron Taylor-Johnson, (then Aaron Johnson) in his iconic role as Robbie in Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. It was arguably the actor's breakout role that saw him as the cheeky teenager Robbie, the object of Georgia Nicholson and teenage girls everywhere's affection.

Before Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging, Aaron had done a series of small TV show roles including an episode of The Bill and Casualty.

Nowhere Boy - 2009

Aaron's next big role was in the biographical film drama Nowhere Boy where he played the role of John Lennon, with the movie exploring The Beatles' singer's early years. It was during this movie, that he met his future wife and the film's director Sam Taylor-Wood.

Kick-Ass - 2010

Up next is the comedy superhero film Kick-Ass and it's subsequent sequel Kick-Ass 2, which was released in 2013.

In both movies Aaron starred as Dave Lizweski aka Kick-Ass, a high school nerd who ends up becoming a superhero. He performed alongside Chloë Grace Mortez, who played Hit-Girl, as they teamed up to take down the franchise's villain played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Albert Nobbs - 2011

In 2011 Taylor-Johnson starred alongside Glenn Close and Mia Wasikowska in the drama movie Albert Nobbs. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by George Moore, and is set in the late 19th century, it tells the story of a hotel butler Nobbs, who was born a woman but has spent the last 30 years living as a man. Aaron played the role of Joe Mackins who gets a job at the hotel and starts a relationship with a maid.

Savages - 2012

Savages is a 2012 action movie starring Aaron and Taylor Kitsch as best friends Ben and Chon, who are marijuana growers and must work together to get back their shared girlfriend from a Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped her.

Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film has an incredible cast line up, with Aaron working alongside John Travolta, Blake Lively, Benicio Del Toro and Salma Hayek.

Anna Karenina - 2012

Anna Karenina is the last of Aaron's film in which was credited as Aaron Johnson, following his marriage to Sam Taylor-Wood, he became Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

In the adaptation of Tolstoy's acclaimed novel, Aaron played Count Alexei Kirillovich Vronsky who is an army officer and most importantly the lover of Anna, who was played by Keira Knightley.

Godzilla - 2014

Aaron Taylor-Johnson's portfolio is truly varied, having gone from historical drama Anna Karenina to action movie Godzilla. In Godzilla, Johnson-Taylor plays an American soldier Ford, who along with his dad, played by Bryan Cranston, gets caught in the middle of a an ancient war between Godzilla and two MUTOS aka parasitic monsters. The film also starred Elizabeth Olson as Ford's wife.

Avengers: Age of Ultron - 2015

Having just played husband and wife in Godzilla, Aaron and Elizabeth Olsen teamed up again, this time to play twins Pietro and Wanda Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In the Marvel movie, Pietro can move at superhuman speed, while twin sister Wanda has hypnosis and telekinesis skills. The siblings team up with the Avengers to take down Ultron.

Nocturnal Animals - 2016

In thriller movie Nocturnal Animals, Aaron starred as Ray Marcus, a sadistic leader of a gang, alongside Amy Adams, Jake Gyllenhaal, Isla Fisher and Michael Sheen.

The film follows an art gallery owner who reads her ex-husband's novel and sees a startlingly number of similarities to their former life together. Aaron won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in the movie.

The Wall - 2017

If you love Aaron Taylor Johnson and John Cena then you're in luck as the film literally just stars the two of them as two American soldiers who get trapped by an Iraqi Snipper at the end of the Iraq War.

Outlaw King - 2o18

From one war film to another, this time set in the 14th Century as Scottish king Robert the Bruce decides to rebel against the King of England Edward I over the rule of Scotland.

The Netflix movie stars Aaron as James Douglas alongside Chris Pine, who takes on the role of the Scottish king and Florence Pugh as Elizabeth de Burgh, the king's wife.

A Million Little Pieces - 2018

Aaron joined forces with wife Sam Taylor-Johnson for his next project which saw Sam direct the movie and the pair write the screenplay.

A Million Little Pieces is based on the semi-fiction book of the same name by James Frey and follows the story of a young man named Frey, played by Aaron, who admits himself into a rehab facility following a drug addiction.

Tenet - 2020

Aaron Taylor-Johnson featured in Christopher Nolan's sci-fi movie Tenet in 2020. The movie starred John David Washington and Robert Pattinson, and followed the story of a former CIA agent who is recruited into a secret organisation and given the difficult task of tracing objects which are travelling backwards through time and how they're connected to an attack in the future. Aaron played the role of Ives, a Tenet commander who rescues the protagonist in Tallinn.

Bullet Train - 2022

Starring alongside Brad Pitt, Joey King and Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor-Johnson featured in the 2022 David Leitch film Bullet Train.

The movie centres around Ladybug (Pitt) who is a former assassin who battles other killers while riding on a bullet train. Aaron stars as Tangerine, a British assassin who is a twin with fellow assassin Lemon, played by Brian Tyree Henry.

The Fall Guy - 2024

Aaron's next upcoming role is in another David Leitch film The Fall Guy. Set to be released in May this year, the movie focuses on Colt (Ryan Gosling), an aging stunt double, who is hired to work on his ex-girlfriend's Jody (Emily Blunt)'s first movie. Aaron plays Tom, a major movie actor in Jody's film who goes missing, and Colt takes on the task of trying to find him.

Kraven The Hunter - 2024

2024 is a busy year for Aaron, who is also set to star in the Marvel movie Kraven The Hunter, which explores the backstory of one of Spiderman's biggest enemies' Sergio Kravinoff aka Kraven.

Nosferatu - 2024

Seriously, is Aaron planning on sleeping at all this year? The actor is also set to appear in the horror movie Nosferatu about a vampire alongside Bill Skarsgard, Nicholas Holt, and Lily-Rose Depp.
