Rosters for the 19th annual Azalea Orthopedics All-Star High School Basketball Classic have been announced.

The event will take place on April 20 at Tyler Junior College’s Wagstaff Gymnasium. The girls game is slated to start at 5:30 p.m. with the boys game after. Between games, there will be a dunk contest and shooting contest.

The event gives high school seniors the opportunity to showcase their talent for college coaches and hometown fans. Area seniors are nominated by their high school coaches and are selected by an All-Star panel. The teams are geographically divided, which means rival players have the opportunity to team up in this contest. It’s an opportunity for the public to cheer on top-tier talent in an East vs. West showdown.

Playing for the Girls West team are Brownsboro’s Khyra Garrett, Brownsboro’s Khayla Garrett, Van’s Landry Jones, Martin’s Mill’s Kate Lindsey, Edgewood’s Blair McPherson, LaPoynor’s Kitty Eldridge, Bullard’s Jadyn Welch, Van’s Marisa Richardson, Palestine’s Ja’Yanna Johnson, Rains’ Jasey Campbell, Rains’ Haley Robertson and Tyler’s A’Niya Hartsfield. Coaches for the Girls West team are Head Coach Laura Jenkins of Rains High School and her assistants Colton Smith and Maci Sims.

Playing for the Girls East team are Lindale’s Marley Keith, Tenaha’s Kennedi Holmes, Center’s LaNaijha May Johnson, Waskom’s Tiea Chatman, Jefferson’s Kristen Thomas, Rivercrest’s Anna Duvall, Overton’s Kayla Nobles, Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill’s Mackenzie Espinosa, Union Grove’s Ava Wightman, Grace Community’s Olivia Clark, Sabine’s Ella Roberts, Big Sandy’s Reagan Higginbotham and Troup’s Ashja Franklin. Coaches for the Girls East team are Head Coach Laura Walker-Holmes of Tenaha High School and her assistant Darvin Peterson.

Playing for the Boys West team are Tyler HEAT’s Jackson Tomlin, Tyler HEAT’s Elijah Grimes, Palestine’s Gerelle Adams, Hudson’s Cameron Holcomb, Mineola’s Braydon Alley, Wills Point’s Jaylen Asher, Mabank’s Hagen Tijerina, Athens Christian Preparatory Academy’s Landry Gammon, Athens’ Jorien Ray, Corsicana’s Lawrence Williams Jr. and Tyler High’s LaMarcus Lamb. Coaches for the Boys West team are Head Coach Ryan Tomlin of Tyler HEAT and his assistants Lincoln Phillips and Terry Shelton.

Playing for the Boys East team are Jacksonville’s Karmelo Clayborn, Hallsville’s Anthon McDermott, Center’s Emonte “Cash” Cross, Beckville’s Jakelvin Smith, Lindale’s Cole Collinsworth, Laneville’s Jordan Ross, Tatum’s Kollin Robinson, Chapel Hill’s Jayvin Mayfield, Alto’s EJ Lacy, Hooks’ Carveion Johnson, Nacogdoches’ Jaylan Brown and Central’s Darrius Sherman. Coaches for the Boys East team are Head Coach Brett Carr High School and his assistants Jayme Bradley and Daniel Carr.

Tickets are $6 for adults. Students are $3 or free with a student ID. Children 5 and under are free. All proceeds from the All-Star games are donated to the Bethesda Health Clinic.
