The 4A Conference Coconino Panthers softball team continued its undefeated streak to start the season Thursday, defeating Prescott 10-0 on the road.

The Panthers scored eight runs in the third inning, and needed just five total to beat the Badgers via mercy rule. The result was just two days removed from a 9-0 victory over Prescott.
Junior pitcher Kaitlyn Tso had another solid day for the Panthers, throwing all five innings and allowing just three hits and issuing one walk while striking out 12 batters.
Junior Mia Pozar hit 2 for 2 on the day, driving in a run and scoring another. Junior Danica Kern went 1 for 2 with two RBIs, two runs and as many steals. Tso was also productive at the plate, going 1 for 2 with a walk, an RBI and a run. Sophomore Katelynn Yazie also hit 1 for 2 with a pair of RBIs and a run scored.
