A Cambridgeshire village road will be closed for three nights with a 10.7 mile diversion in place. Station Lane in Offord Cluny will be closed overnight at the level crossing from Monday (March 18) to Wednesday (March 20) inclusive for works by Network Rail.

The closure of nearly 200 metres of the road will be in place between 11pm and 5.30am. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesperson said: "Station Lane, Offord Cluny (at the level crossing) will be closed both ways to all traffic between the 18th – 20th March between the hours of 11pm and 5:30am nightly due to works by Network Rail."
