Internet detectives spent the weekend trying to figure out what woman Drake and Future were beefing over after the latter released We Don’t Trust You with Metro Boomin and seemingly took shots at his longtime collaborator. A woman was identified and circulated the internet, and she spoke up this week to clear the air about all the rumors flying around.

“Nobody’s beefing over me,” Diana, a.k.a Princess Diana, said in an Instagram Live on Tuesday (March 26). People believed that it had to be her since one of the album’s songs was titled “Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana),” but according to her, that isn’t the case. “I’m not that important, I’m just a regular girl. I’m just a regular person. It ain’t about me.”

Notably, she did not mention the Toronto superstar or Atlanta rapper by name. “I don’t need to address or clear anything up because those who know, know, and that’s all that matters,” she said. “You know? People are going to believe what they want to believe. So, it doesn’t matter what I clear up.”

Diana also revealed that she is currently in a relationship. “My ni**a doesn’t care. He’s laughing at this,” she said. “He literally don’t give a f**k. He’s not going nowhere. I don’t know who thought he was going somewhere.”

Metro Boomin had similar energy earlier this week for fans who attempted to put the pieces together regarding this beef. One fan shared a screenshot of Diana’s Instagram page on X, formerly known as Twitter, and then a screenshot of “Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana),” believing there was a connection. The St. Louis producer shut it down, writing, “Yall ni**as stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music.”

Beyond that particular song, people felt Future took direct shots at Drake on the album’s opening title track. “You a ni**a number one fan, dog/ Sneak dissin’, I don’t understand, dog/ Pillowtalkin’, actin’ like a fed, dog/ I don’t need another fake friend, dog/ Can’t be ’bout a h**, ’cause we sharin’, dog/ In your feelings, ni**a, why you playin’, dog?” he rapped.

Fans believed those particular lines played off of Drake’s latest album title For All The Dogs. The use of “in your feelings” also could’ve been a reference to his 2018 hit “In My Feelings.” These lines, others on the album, and the fact that the 6 God and Future have not collaborated since 2022 led many to people there are real issues between the two.

On top of that, there are also rumors that Future wasn’t happy about the fact the part-time crooner worked with 21 Savage on their November 2022 collaborative album, Her Loss.

“I heard there’s a big rumor that Future is not too happy with this Drake and 21 Savage album, and it makes Drake and Future’s album not as important, I would say,” N.O.R.E. told The Breakfast Club in January 2023. “This is allegedly, this is all rumors, I’ve never heard it from Future’s mouth, never heard it from Drake, never heard it from 21, but it’s an alleged big rumor that’s going on right now.”
