The Murfreesboro seven-year-old from at the center of an Amber Alert has been found safe in Texas, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Sunday.
Her non-custodial mother and another man are in custody and face charges in connection with the case, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
"It was a team effort between TBI, the sheriff’s office, Texas officers and partner law enforcement agencies across the country," Rutherford County Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Joseph Duncan said in a news release from MPD. "We worked a lot of hours but we have her safe. I am very thankful for everyone who called."
