BLOOMINGTON — The American Legion Honor Guard from Post 634 and Post 56 will host a Vietnam War Recognition event at 11 a.m. Friday, March 29.
The event will take place on the east steps of the McLean County Museum of History in Bloomington.
The recognition ceremony will commence with a flyover at 11 a.m., followed by an introduction and invocation. Two Vietnam veterans will talk about some of their experiences during the war. The event will conclude with a three-volley rifle salute, taps and a bagpiper playing "Amazing Grace."
