According to the arrest reports, deputies were called to The Palms of Destin on March 25 around 3:45 a.m. for a trespassing investigation.

The report said multiple people refused to leave the property. Deputies told them if they did not leave, they would be arrested, according to the report.

However, the Vanisons allegedly still refused to leave.

The arrest report for Mary said a deputy was trying to detain another person on the ground when Mary pushed them in the back, causing them to fall.

Bryant’s arrest report said as a woman on the scene was being taken into custody, Bryant grabbed onto the deputy’s arm with both hands. It is unclear if Mary was the woman being taken into custody then.
