Three teens arrested for armed robbery after fleeing stolen car that caught fire

A 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds were arrested on Tuesday for robbery, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Around 3 p.m., officers responded for a citizen robbery at Southgate Old Mill Park, located at 8224 Oakwood Rd. in Glen Burnie, police said.

Several suspects robbed four teenage victims at gunpoint, taking their belongings, according to police.

As officers were investigating, a 911 call was received for a vehicle fire involving a stolen white BMW near Oakwood Rd. and Old Mill Rd., police said.

A witness provided a description to responding officers of the three suspects that fled the vehicle, according to police.

The BMW had been reported stolen through Montgomery County, according to police.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department extinguished the fire, and the cause is under investigation.

The three suspects who fled the BMW were located and identified as the suspects involved in the robbery, police said.

The suspects were identified as two 17-year-olds and a 15-year-old, all from Severn, according to police.
