Billie Piper appeared to have thoroughly enjoyed Netflix's Scoop afterparty on Wednesday as she looked bleary-eyed on the way home after celebrating the premiere.

The singer turned actress, 42, joined her co-stars Gillian Anderson, Rufus Sewell, Keeley Hawes, Romola Garai, and Connor Swindells at the London premiere of the Netflix drama focused on Prince Andrew's controversial interview with the BBC which took place in 2019. The star-studded cast brought glitz and glamour to the red carpet at London's The Curzon Mayfair followed by the afterparty at Little House in Mayfair.

Billie, who is playing TV producer Sam McAlister in the drama - which is set to air on Netflix on April 5 - ensured that her red carpet ensemble would turn heads as she donned a racy black pinstripe power suit from Dolce and Gabbana. For the afterparty, Billie decided to ditch her suit shorts and opted for some black tights instead as the bash continued into the early hours of the morning.

The actress was all smiles as she made her way out the venue before hopping into a black cab to get home after the exciting night celebrating Netflix's hotly-anticipated Prince Andrew drama. Earlier in the night, Billie walked the red carpet alongside Gillian Anderson, 55, who plays journalist Emily Maitlis in the film.

In the teaser trailer, Sex Education star Gillian bears an uncanny resemblance to the Newsnight journalist, but last night at the premiere, Gillian was completely herself as she stunned in a show-stopping teal strapless gown.

The former X Files actress showed off her ageless complexion with a minimal makeup look as she styled her blonde locks in loose waves. It's A Sin actress Keeley Hawes, 48, who plays Amanda Thirsk in the Netflix drama opted for an all black look.

Meanwhile Romola Garai, who is best known for her role in BBC's Vigil, oozed glamour tailored cream suit embellished with baby blue ribbons.

Inspired by real events, this fictional dramatization gives an insider account of how the women of Newsnight secured Prince Andrew's infamous interview with the BBC which caused him to retreat from public life afterwards.

The logline of the film reads: “From navigating Palace vetoes, to penetrating Prince Andrew’s inner circle, from the high stakes negotiations and rehearsal - to the jaw dropping interview itself.

"Scoop is the insider account of the inner workings of the Palace and the BBC, twin bastions of the British Establishment, spotlighting the journalists whose tenacity and guts broke through the highest of ceilings - and into the inner sanctum and calculations of a man with everything to lose.”
