UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Cumberland County are looking for the driver who fled after hitting a child riding a bicycle on Sunday.

Upper Allen Township Police say at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday a child was struck by a vehicle on the 300 block of Gettysburg Pike.

A witness told police that the dark blue sedan hit the bike from behind, causing the child to flip over and fall. The vehicle fled without stopping and a gray sedan may have witnessed the crash.

The child was taken to Hershey Medical Center for their injuries.

On Friday police released images of the suspected vehicle.
