KATIA GLENN TOLD HER SON HE COULD STAY A LITTLE LONGER AT A FRIEND’S BIRTHDAY PARTY. YOUR COUSIN’S GOING TO BE THERE AT ONE AT 11 TO PICK YOU UP. OKAY, MOM. OKAY, I LOVE YOU. BYE BYE. HER NEXT PHONE CALL WAS THE ONE THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING. JUST AFTER 9:00 ON SEPTEMBER 23RD, A FRIEND TOLD HER TO GET TO 36 IN STRATTON. HER SON, 14 YEAR OLD AUSTIN WALTERS, HAD BEEN SHOT AND KILLED. HER FATHER WENT WITH HER AND DROPPED TO HIS KNEES AT THE SIGHT OF HIS GRANDSON. ASK THE LORD WHY? WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME? YOU KNOW YOU KNOW IT WILL HURT ME. WHY? WHAT YOU DO? I’M AN OLD MAN. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME, LORD? A SPRAY PAINTED HEART NOW MARKS THE SPOT WHERE AUSTIN WAS SHOT AND KILLED SEVERAL SHOTS WERE FIRED THAT NIGHT. YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THERE’S STILL TWO BULLET MARKS IN THE SIDE OF THIS BUILDING. ACCORDING TO DETECTIVES, THOSE SHOTS WEREN’T FIRED INTO THE CROWD. ALSTON, THEY SAY, WAS TARGETED. WHY WOULD SOMEONE BE THAT COLD? THAT COLD? AND TO DO HIM LIKE THAT? AND FOR A GRIEVING FAMILY, JUST AS IMPORTANT IS THE WHO LOVED ONES ARE HOPING THAT NOW, SIX MONTHS AFTER THE CRIME AND WITH A $5,000 REWARD, THEY’LL GET THEIR ANSWERS. I’M PRETTY SURE THAT THERE IS SOMEBODY THAT WANT TO COME FORTH AND JUST DON’T KNOW HOW TO COME FORTH, BUT I THINK THEY NEED TO GO TO THEIR PARENTS, GO TO A ADULT, GO TO THE POLICE STATION AND SAY, HEY, I KNOW SOMETHING. WEIJIA GLENN, WHO SAYS SHE LOST A PIECE OF HERSELF SIX MONTHS AGO, SAYS SHE IS HEALING. I HAVE FORGIVEN EVERYBODY INVOLVED, SO I HAVE PEACE. I’M NOT ANGRY, BUT NEEDS JUSTICE FOR HER SON IN LOUISVILLE,
