Kendall Jenner Put a hot Spin on Coquette in This Lacy transparent Corset Gown

Kendall Jenner was a sight to see at Sunday night’s post-Oscars bash.

The supermodel made a grand entrance at Vanity Fair’s after-party in a look that perfectly melded three major runway trends: coquette, transparent, and exposed lingerie.

Her gown was a black, completely transparent piece that made its debut on Maison Margiela’s Spring/Summer 2024 couture runway. The piece featured a delicate floral lace pattern at the top, one which was mimicked along the bodice, where breezy matte fabric was broken up with cloud-shaped cutouts embellished with floral lace.

Under the see-though layer, a tight cream button-up corset cinched Jenner at the waist, giving the hot look a Marie Antoinette spin. To match, she also wore a frilly cream thong, which was covered with a long train that started just bellow her belly button and flowed down to the carpet.

And the wow factor didn’t end there. The model paired the striking gown with black Margiela ballerina Tabi heels with a crisscross strap at the ankle. She then added some shimmer with a pair of large white diamond cluster earrings.

The 818 founder finalized her unexpected look with classic glamour: a messy bun, glowy makeup, and a bold red lip.

Jenner’s sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner and mom Kris Jenner attended the after-party with her. Skims founder Kim pulled out an icy white gown by Balenciaga for the occasion, while cosmetics mogul Kylie wore a maroon chainmail dress courtesy of Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Momager Kris, meanwhile, was elegant in a beige gown embellished with white crystals and silver appliqués.
