The Mountaintop

Catch Riverside Theatre's latest production, "The Mountaintop," written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall. Hall reimagines the night leading up Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in 1968. Set in Memphis after Dr. King's iconic "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech, a "mysterious" stranger challenges King to confront his destiny and the legacy he leaves for America at the Lorraine Motel. Riverside Theatre has three showtimes throughout the weekend, with tickets available on their website. The play runs until March 10.

Dueling Pianos at the Vue

The Vue Rooftop in downtown Iowa City offers Dueling Pianos during the first weekend of every month. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos will take turns playing songs, responding to each other's performances, and engaging with the audience on Saturday, March 2. They also host a playful competition between each other. Enjoy a night out, whether for dinner or drinks and catch the performance that runs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
