Michelle Keegan has revealed that she finds it "tough" being away from husband Mark Wright.

The couple, who have recently launched their new sportswear brand Aytee7, revealed that they'd escaped the gloomy British weather and headed to the Australian city of Sydney. Mark heading to the golf course just six hours after landing. In a video posted to his Instagram story, the 37 year old former TOWIE star could be seen playing a game of golf as he said: "1.30am landed in Sydney, what's it now? 7.55am.

"Three hours kip. Straight on the course, straight down the farewell. Farewell? Fairway. That's how tired I am." Michelle, 36, posted a series of snaps alongside the caption: "Bank to the land down under". However, the couple won't get to enjoy Australia for too long together as Mark will return home to Blightly, to leave the Fool Me Once star to her latest telly job.

Having been married for nearly 10 years, the couple have previously opened up about how their busy schedules can be "really tough" as it means that they have to spend time away from one another. "People said how did you deal with it and stuff. Thank God for FaceTime and things like that," former Coronation Street star Michelle said on an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show.

"You're on a countdown the whole time to just get home. I had six months off when I went home, so I went to America." As a result, travelling together where they can is key. The actress and former The Only Way Is Essex Star have been long-distance multiple times before. Michelle was asked on the Happy Place podcast, by Ferne Cotton: "You've had periods where you have been in totally different continents. How have you made it work long distance? There are plenty of people [who have long distance relationships]. What keeps you on the right track?"

Michelle said: "That's the thing - we're not the first to it. And it is a job thing." Discussing a project she worked on in Australia, Michelle added: "I had like two months alone but then he'd come out and stay with me for six weeks. And it's just having and finding that time for each other. I think that's the main key, but also letting us have our freedom to do what we wanna do career-wise."

The pair's trip comes after Mark gushed over his wife's role in Netflix's Fool Me Once revealing that it left him "in tears". Speaking on his radio show, Mark Wright on Saturdays, the proud hubby gave his wife a shoutout and admitted that he was bursting with so much pride that he was left in tears. "I turned to my left to tell my wife how much I loved it and how proud I was and yeah, I broke down I got a lump in my throat I did cry like a little bit of soppy, but I think it was just that moment of watching my wife on the screen," he said.
