Glenn boys soccer player Tito Don Juan voted Austin-area Boys Athlete of the Week

Glenn soccer player Tito Don Juan, who recorded a hat trick as the Grizzlies defeated Cedar Park 3-0, was voted the Covert Chevrolet Bastrop Austin-Area Boys Athlete of the Week for Feb. 26-March 2.

Don Juan, who helped Glenn secure the District 25-5A title this season, received 46% of the vote.

Bowie soccer player Griffin Crawley, Vista Ridge soccer player J Mossholder, Georgetown soccer player Martin Valdes and Stony Point basketball player Davaughn Hueitt also were candidates. McCallum soccer player Austin Gourrier won the previous poll for Feb. 19-24.

The American-Statesman will have a weekly vote for Girls Athlete of the Week and Boys Athlete of the Week throughout the academic year.
