Yellow Aims to Toss Teamsters’ $257 Million Bankruptcy Claim (1)

Bankrupt Yellow Corp. is seeking to block a Teamsters effort to assert about $257 million in debt it says the fallen trucker owes in benefit liability.

The Chapter 11 claim asserted by the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust Fund is years late and charges improper interest, Yellow said in a Monday objection in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
