Witnesses said Franklin was responsible for plowing through a fence on Tabor Church Road. They say she crossed someone’s front yard and hit a tree in a nearby church parking lot.

That’s when witnesses say an innocent bystander stopped to see if she could help. They say the suspect forced that bystander to drive her down Matt Haire Road.

“I heard three gunshots in a consecutive order and 30 seconds later I heard a fourth gunshot,” said a witness who doesn’t want to be identified.

That’s when witnesses say the suspect took off her clothes and laid down in the middle of the road.
