listed below.
Replacement payback:
The number of years of energy savings (from a new water heater) needed to cover the purchase and installation costs of replacing an existing water heater.
New construction payback:
The number of years of energy savings (from a new water heater) needed to cover the purchase and installation costs when installed in a new structure.
Average annual energy consumption cost:
Based on the estimated amount of fuel, and the resulting cost, that a water heater uses per year under simulated heavy use conditions.
