It is set to be another busy week on and off the course in the world of professional golf, with Monday seeing the PGA Tour and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) meet in the Bahamas.

The meeting between the two sides of golf's ongoing peace negotiations were originally thought to be connecting in Florida following last week's Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Those involved however travelled to the Albany Resort in the Bahamas, with the PGA Tour's Player Directors holding talks with PIF.

With pressure continuing to grow, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan was in attendance, and provided an update to his players on negotiations via a memo on Monday night.

This mirrors the approach we employed earlier this year as we evaluated an investment offer from the Strategic Sports Group... As we continue these discussions with the PIF, we will keep you updated as much as possible, but please understand that we need to maintain our position of not conducting negotiations in public. To that end, we will provide no further comments to the media at this time."
