Vancouver’s own comedic treasure, actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen, has listed his 1,463-square-foot Yaletown penthouse apartment for sale, and it’s anything but a stoner’s dank dungeon.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom converted warehouse suite in The Hamilton features nearly 3.5 metre ceilings, exposed brick and timber beams, plenty of natural light from big windows and skylights, heritage accents mixed with modern luxuries, and a smoking open kitchen.
The price tag: Just under $2.3 million.
The penthouse at 1178 Hamilton St. went up for sale this month and has been immaculately staged by Patti Martin Real Estate Group and Adina Dragasanu.
Martin says the apartment’s 3.5 metre kitchen island is the “centrepiece” of the large open living space, which makes it a perfect spot for entertaining. The kitchen also has a professional-grade Viking appliance suite that includes a six-burner gas stove.
An oversized main bedroom has a spa-like ensuite with a dual waterfall shower and spacious walk-in closet, while the second bedroom is just as light-filled and inviting.
The penthouse also features a 377-sq.-ft. rooftop patio with views of the city, a parking spot and storage locker.
Rogen’s latest projects include last year’s comedy Dumb Money, about the GameStop stock market caper, and The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down, a short CBC reality series about his favourite THC-free hobby.
