Meta Platforms Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg met with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Tuesday to discuss artificial intelligence.
“We had a good productive conversation about AI and the future of technology, and I’m really excited for the work that is happening here in Japan,” Zuckerberg said in his sole comment to the media following the talks.
Kishida and Zuckerberg spoke for 36 minutes, with Joel Kaplan, Meta’s vice president of global public policy, also joining the meeting.
