CINCINNATI (WKRC) - One person died and multiple were injured in a highway crash Saturday night.

It happened on I-74 Westbound near the areas of South Cumminsville and Northside around 11:40 p.m.

Cincinnati Police say a 22-year-old man was driving the wrong way and struck an SUV head-on.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. On Monday, the Hamilton County Coroner's Office identified him as Ian Hollopeter.

The other driver and two passengers were treated for minor injuries.

Hollopeterwas not wearing a seatbelt, according to police. Impairment and excessive speed are being investigated as factors.

The other three people, at least one of whom was a minor, were all wearing their seatbelts.

Any witnesses to the crash are asked to call the Cincinnati Police Department at (513) 352-2514.
