Whether it be choosing a true statement colour, or using an all time classic.

Professionals have done their research to save us beauty fans the time and effort when choosing the best products.

Makeup artist Linda Andersson found her best Boots buys for under a tenner.

One statement colour she believes is one to get into your makeup bag is cobalt blue.

Talking to Boots, she says: “To keep it fresh and modern, go for a bright tone.”

She advises to “avoid pearlescent accents that might make it look a little 80s.”

Linda says that blue is a good colour that “most people can wear,” as it “compliments blue and brown eyes.”

To do blue eyes, she first recommends drawing across the eyelid with blue pencil, and then smudging the colour into the eyelid.

I binned my expensive moisturiser for a cheap Boots buy and it's made all the difference - my acne basically disappeared

She would then apply bright blues on the outer corners of the lids, before fishing with a “touch of matte white in the inner corner.”

But there is one super cheap Boots product Linda recommends, which she thinks will go perfectly with the look.

It's the 17. Extreme Extension Mascara in Navy, which costs £4.

Describing the product on the Boots website, they wrote: “The longest you've ever known! Give your lashes definition and extreme length with our ecofiber formula mascara.

“Ophthalmologically tested.”

Linda also recommended reds, pinks and lime colours for beauty fans to use in 2024.

Cosmetic store Boots has always been a popular store where customers can buy everything from low-cost to high-end.

With thousands of creams on the market, beauty fans have hailed Boots for selling “the best ones.”

One beauty fan even previously revealed that a £2 cream sold in their stores is “just as good as a Charlotte Tilbury one.”

A photographer took to her TikTok page ‘dairewithafada,’ and shared a video revealing the ‘gossip,’ she discovered whilst working to her 25.4k followers.

Talking about the cheap cream, she said: “All the makeup artists agree and all say the same thing about Charlotte Tilbury's Magic cream.

“It's essentially identical to NIVEA and just mixed with a little bit of highlighter balm, FYI.”
