Harbor Freight opening Hornell store this week. Hours, location and how to call
Harbor Freight Tools, which bills itself as the leading national retailer of quality tools at affordable prices, is set to welcome customers in greater Hornell.
The Calabasas, Calif..-based tool and equipment retailer opens its 22,000-square foot store Tuesday at 7451 Seneca Road North in Hornellsville.
The retail space was formerly a Valu Home Center, but has undergone a complete remodel. The store is expected to employ as many as two dozen people and is still accepting applications online.

The Hornell Harbor Freight will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday. The store is closed most holidays.

The Seneca Road North plaza also includes a Dollar General store and Advance Auto Parts.
Harbor Freight Tools announced in January that it would open the Hornell location, joining existing New York stores in Olean, Canandaigua, Big Flats, Elmira, Rochester and Geneseo.
