Noyo Food Forest’s 15th Annual Earth Day Festival will be held Saturday, April 20, from 12-4:00 p.m. at The Learning Garden on the Fort Bragg High School campus at 300 Dana Street. This year’s festival will include live entertainment with Circus Mecca, Gwyneth Moreland, Morgan Daniel (of Foxglove), and 2nd Hand Grass featuring Gene Parsons. There will be a plant sale, hands-on environmental activities, earth-friendly artisan crafts, local nonprofit booths, delicious food, an upcycled T-shirt press, and bicycle-powered smoothies. The event will focus on regenerative gardening and community farming.

Earth Day, founded in 1970, is an international celebration of the planet and environmental teach-in. This multicultural, multi-generational event brings together people and organizations across our community. The Earth Day Festival has been the signature benefit event for Noyo Food Forest since its founding in 2006. This event is open to all (adult donations are encouraged). Please observe school campus rules: no dogs, no alcohol or drugs, and no smoking. More information is available at noyofoodforest.org.
