Fundraiser

Local coordinators James and Kristen Tucker serve at the inaugural “Craws for The CALL” crawfish and shrimp boil in May of 2021.

This Easter weekend, Goode’s Cash Saver is celebrating by hosting the fourth annual “Craws for The CALL” to benefit The CALL in Van Buren and Searcy counties on Saturday, March 30 in the Goode’s Cash Saver Parking Lot from 11 a.m. to whenever the food runs out.

Food Truck “Mama Said” will be selling favorites like Shrimp on a Stick, Crawchos, Craw Taters and other Cajun favorites. They will also be selling crawfish plates and shrimp plates. The food truck is donating 10 percent of its proceeds from the day to the local affiliate for The CALL, and Goode’s Cash Saver is matching with an additional 10 percent. Funds raised through the event will go to support children and youth in foster care and the local families who care for them.
