"Yall n****s stop making stuff up for engagement and enjoy the music," Metro tweeted underneath an account that claimed that the two rappers are at odds over a woman named Diana.

The ramped up speculation surrounding the status of Drake and Future's relationship comes after the release of Metro and Future's album We Don't Trust You. On the title track of the new album, Future had some bars for someone who many people think is Drake.

"You a n***a number one fan, dog / Sneak dissin', I don't understand, dog / Pillow talkin', actin' like a fed, dog," he raps. "I don't need another fake friend, dog / Can't be 'bout a ho, 'cause we sharin', dog / In you feelings, n***a, why you playin', dog?"

The online specluation Metro responded to also pointed out how there's a song on the album called "Magic Don Juan (Princess Diana)," and assumed it was about a woman named Diana.

Fans have also pointed out that last year on Drake's "What Would Pluto Do" from For All The Dogs, the Toronto rapper had lyrics that implied he slept with a girl that Future was previously with. "What would Pluto do? He'd fuck the ho, so I did it," Drake raps on the song.

Other social media users pointed out how Drake's verse on "More Ms"—a 2022 cut off his 21 Savage collab album Her Loss—hits different in light of the precieved feud. "What happened to that n***a claiming OVO? We traded him," raps Drake, which some now take to mean he traded Future for 21 Savage. Drake continued his verse rapping:

N***s ain't got love for the boy, so they fake it
Crack a couple jokes to some bitches on some snake shit
But if I send a verse to they ass, then they'll take it
Shoot a video, arm around me like we aces
Or pop out at my shows, jump around with me on stages

We'll see where this goes next.

One song that didn't leave any room for speculation was the Kendrick Lamar-featuring song "Like That." On the song, Lamar raps, "Motherfuck the big three, n***a, it's just big me / N***a, bum, what? I'm really like that," taking shots clearly aimed at Drake. "And your best work is a light pack / N***a, Prince outlived Mike Jack' / N***a, bum, 'fore all your dogs gettin' buried / That's a K with tall these nines, he go' see Pet Sematary / N***a, bum."
