High non-performing loans burden Kenyan banks' performance

A second global ratings agency, Fitch Ratings, has retained its outlook on Kenya’s banks at ‘B’ with a negative outlook, citing the high volumes of non-performing loans (NPLs) amid adverse economic shocks.
